8 March 2012 On International Women's Day, 8 March 2012, UN Women Executive Director Michelle Bachelet calls for women's equal participation in all spheres of life as fundamental to democracy and justice.

5 March 2012 Congratulations to Ms Roxy Galindo from Canada who has been appointed to the position of Youth Intern for 2012/13. Ms Galindo will begin working at the International Headquarters in September.

1 March 2012 Mr Poul V. Thomsen of Kjellerup, Denmark, has been elected International President Elect of Y's Men International for a period of one year, starting 1 July 2012. On 1 July 2013 he will assume the office of International President for one year.

2012 INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION

Registrations are now being accepted for the 2012 International Convention in Stavanger, Norway. Register before 1 May 2012 to benefit from the reduced rates!

ROLL BACK MALARIA

The extension of YMI's participation within the Roll Back Malaria Partnership until 2015 - the deadline for the UN Millennium Development Goals - was officially launched on UN Day, 24 October 2010.

TOF GLOBAL PROJECT FUND

The TOF Global Project Fund involves members giving up at least one meal and donating the cost of that meal to the fund. This money is made available to projects sponsored by both Y’s Men and the YMCAs all over the world.
