It is again time for the International Elections, one of the most participative processes in our Movement. It is the right and duty of all eligible clubs to take part in the election process.

Eligible Voting Clubs
- Voting privileges are granted to clubs that meet the following requirements:
- Are in good standing and with minimum of 15 club members during last 3 semesters (or those that have been granted an exemption from this minimum requirement)
- Have provided IHQ with a valid email address for the Club President or approved representative
- More information on voting eligibility is available in By-laws 410, 411 & 412 of the International Constitution.
Terms & Conditions
Voters must carefully read the terms and conditions of the International Election. You will be asked to accept the terms and conditions after logging into the voting portal.
Online Voting
The 2025/26 International Elections of Y’s Men International will be conducted using Simply Voting, a web-based online voting system (https://www.simplyvoting.com/)
- Robust Security Measures
- Simply Voting employs multiple security features, including voter authentication, one-vote-per-voter technology, encrypted communication, and comprehensive logging of all administrator and voter activities.
- Infrastructure Integrity
- The system’s infrastructure is protected with daily security scans, regular penetration testing, and source code security audits, ensuring high-level security against various threats.
- Privacy and Confidentiality:
- Voter secrecy is paramount; election organisers cannot access individual votes, and voter information is securely handled, meeting TRUSTe Privacy Certification standards.
- Compliance with Standards
- Simply Voting is SOC 2 Type 1 compliant, demonstrating adherence to rigorous standards for security, availability, and confidentiality.
Invitation to Vote
Club Presidents (or approved representatives) will receive an email from “Y’s Men International” <vote@simplyvoting.com>
Voting representatives of all eligible clubs are recommended to add the email address <vote@simplyvoting.com> to their list of safe senders (“white list”) within their email account settings. This will ensure that any emails inviting clubs to vote will not be sent to junk/spam folders.
The email will contain an Elector ID and Password.
These credentials can be used to vote at https://ymi.simplyvoting.com/

- Check with your Regional Director or Regional Office, or login to iMIS, to verify the email address that was provided to IHQ.

International President Elect (IPE)
Candidates were nominated by the Legislative Assembly of Representatives from names submitted by Regional Directors on behalf of each Region and by the Nominating Committee.
The final three candidates for International President Elect 2026/27 are:

Candidates were nominated by the Legislative Assembly of Representatives from names submitted by Regional Directors on behalf of each Region and by the Nominating Committee.

Asia Pacific Area
Only one candidate for one seat was nominated, so no election for Legislative Assembly Representative for Asia Pacific Area is needed.
Mr Huan Ching (Frank) TSAI (Taiwan Region), will serve from 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027 as Area President Elect/Legislative Assembly Representative Elect, from 1 July 2027 – 30 June 2028 as Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative, and from 1 July 2028 – 30 June 2029 as Past Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative.

Only one candidate for one seat was nominated, so no election for Legislative Assembly Representative for Canada/Caribbean Area is needed.
Mr Ivan TOMPKINS (Maritimes Region), will as Area President Elect/Legislative Assembly Representative Elect from 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027 and as Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative from 1 July 2027 – 30 June 2029.

Mr Erling BIRKBAK (Denmark Region) will serve as Area President Elect/Legislative Assembly Representative from 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027 and Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative from 1 July 2027 – 30 June 2028.

This year India Area will elect two (2) persons to serve as:
- Legislative Assembly Representative Elect (1)
- 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027

In accordance with the accepted rotation formula:
- Legislative Assembly Representative Elect (1) 2026-27 is to be filled by a candidate from South India Region
- Legislative Assembly Representative Elect (2) 2026-27 is to be filled by a candidate from South West India Region
South India Region
Only one candidate for one seat was nominated, so no election of Legislative Assembly Representative Elect 2026-27 for India Area (South India candidates) is needed.
Mr Ayyamuthu MARIMUTHU (South India Region), will serve from 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027 as Legislative Assembly Representative Elect and from 1 July 2027 – 30 June 2029 as Legislative Assembly Representative.

Dr Shrihari A. K. (South West India Region), will serve from 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027 as Legislative Assembly Representative Elect and from 1 July 2027 – 30 June 2029 as Legislative Assembly Representative.

Korea Area
At the time of election, there are no candidates for Korea Area. If required, an election will be held at a later date. One seat is vacant for the position of Legislative Assembly Representative to serve from 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2028.
United States Area
Only one candidate for one seat was nominated, so no election for Legislative Assembly Representative for United States Area is needed.
Mr Daniel EBERLY (Pacific Southwest Region), will as Area President Elect/Legislative Assembly Representative Elect from 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027 and as Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative from 1 July 2027 – 30 June 2029.

Africa Area
Mr Jared MUSIMA (Africa Southeast) was elected earlier this year to serve as Area President Elect/Legislative Assembly Representative Elect from 1 July 2025 until 30 June 2026 and then as Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative from 1 July 2026 until 30 June 2028, and therefore election of an Legislative Assembly Representative Elect is not needed at this time.

Ms Magarida Maria RUIVO (Brazil Region) was elected earlier this year to serve as Area President Elect/Legislative Assembly Representative Elect from 1 July 2025 until 30 June 2026 and then as Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative from 1 July 2026 until 30 June 2028, and therefore election of an Legislative Assembly Representative Elect is not needed at this time.
