YMI World – January 2026

The January edition of YMI World marks the start of a new year while remaining firmly grounded in the work already underway across our movement. As the second half of the 2025/26 term begins, this issue brings together stories of service, fellowship, and responsibility that reflect YMI at its best.

This month’s cover story highlights the collaboration between Y’s Menettes and YMCA Romania, where an after-school programme continues to provide care, stability, and opportunity for Ukrainian refugee children. Through education, wellbeing support, and cultural engagement, the project shows how sustained partnership can make a real and lasting difference.

January is also Endowment Fund Emphasis Month, with a renewed focus on strengthening the long-term foundations of YMI. Contributions to the Endowment Fund help ensure that our movement remains resilient and able to serve future generations with confidence and purpose.

Elsewhere in this issue of YMI World, you’ll find:

  • Messages from international leadership as YMI steps into 2026
  • A summary of the 100 Days Membership Campaign and the chartering of new clubs worldwide
  • Updates from the Areas highlighting service, growth, and fellowship across Regions
  • A tribute honouring the life and service of Koshy Mathew
  • Reflections linked to Christian Emphasis and the season of renewal

As the year unfolds, this issue invites reflection without pause, and action without haste, as we continue the work entrusted to us.

Contributions for the next issue of YMI World are due by 15 January 2026.

Let’s keep writing this story, together.
