The legislative power of YMI is vested in a 15-member International Council.
While most decisions are made at the annual International Council Meeting, members sometimes are required to vote on motions throughout the year using electronic balloting.
Two recent approved motions included:
1) Amendment of the dates for the 2018 International Convention (9-12 August 2018) and International Youth Convocation (6-12 August) in Korea.
2) Region Sweden to become a District within Region Norway from 1 July 2017.
