YMI World – September 2025

A season of renewal and resolve.

As the pages of YMI World turn this September, we see a movement alive with energy and purpose. From the charter of Taichung Great Harvest in Taiwan that sets the stage for the 100 Days Membership Campaign, to new strategies, bold service projects, and stories of impact from every Area, this edition captures a fellowship on the move.

Inside you’ll find International President Edward Ong’s vision for bridging generations through wisdom and care — a call to reimagine how seniors and youth can support each other in life and leadership. ISG Jose Varghese reports on key decisions from the Legislative Assembly, from strengthening funds and policies to reaffirming our global commitments.

Highlights include:

  • Recognition of Platinum, Diamond, and Golden Clubs for outstanding growth.
  • Creative service initiatives across Africa, India, Korea, and Europe — from prison outreach and flood relief to recycling projects and women’s empowerment.
  • Vibrant Area updates, from marathons in Taiwan and blood donation in Al Ain to peacebuilding and expansion across Europe.
  • A closer look at Strategy 2032 and its ambitious action plan for 2025/26, YMI Focus 2.4.

And as September brings International Literacy Day and the International Day of Peace, we’re reminded that our service is part of a wider global movement towards justice, knowledge, and understanding.

Your voice matters here. Whether it’s a project, reflection, or new idea, YMI World is your platform to share and inspire.
