We’re celebrating a powerful wave of growth and renewal across the globe, as several new and revived countries join our movement of service and fellowship, bringing the total number of countries and territories to 82.
In 2025, Austria enters our family for the very first time, and Italy makes a triumphant return, reviving a proud legacy that began back in 1934. We’ve also seen Togo reawaken its commitment to YMI, having originally chartered in 1993, and Portugal, which was first welcomed into the movement in 1960, has now rejoined with fresh purpose and vision.
From the African continent, Botswana, Lesotho, and Rwanda stepped in as brand new additions in 2024, bringing new voices and fresh enthusiasm to our community.
Switzerland, with its deep roots stretching back to 1964 and the home to our International Headquarters, returned in 2024, and far across the globe, New Zealand, with its first club chartered in 1940, has come back to life, ready to write a new chapter of action and fellowship.
