After two packed days of Convention activities, Day 3 of the 75th International Convention of Y’s Men International offered delegates a change of pace and the opportunity to experience some of the sights of Penang together.
Saturday was dedicated to the IC 2026 excursion, taking delegates away from the Convention venue for a day of sightseeing, fellowship and shared experiences.
Among the highlights was a visit to the spectacular Kek Lok Si Temple, one of Penang’s most recognisable landmarks. Delegates had time to explore the impressive temple complex, enjoy its architecture and surroundings, and, of course, capture plenty of photographs along the way.
The excursion continued to Penang Hill, where delegates could take in another side of the island while enjoying time with friends old and new. After the busy programme of the preceding days, the excursion provided an opportunity simply to spend time together and enjoy the host destination.
Back at the hotel, everyone reunited for another Convention dinner, where we were honoured to welcome YB Wong Hon Wai, Penang State Executive Councillor for Tourism and Creative Economy, as Guest of Honour. One of the evening’s highlights was a spectacular fashion show, bringing colour, style and energy to the programme.
The celebrations continued after dinner as the evening shifted into party mode. Music and a DJ soon had delegates on their feet, with plenty of dancing bringing Day 3 to a lively and memorable close.
