Building Fellowship Promotion

The Building Fellowship programme continues to rely on Regions to host BF Ambassadors, opening doors to cultural exchange, leadership development, and international friendship. As outlined in the BF flyers below, hosting involves planning a short 1-4-week programme, supporting local visits and YMI activities, and providing accommodation and transport, with up to 50% reimbursement available for approved hosting costs. The new promotional flyers provide information on hosting, applying for grants, and the importance of strengthening fundraising efforts to sustain and expand BF opportunities.

All Regional Directors have been asked to consider submitting a hosting proposal by 1 December 2025, helping us strengthen global fellowship and ensure that more members benefit from this longstanding programme. BFECC K. Venkatesh is calling on all Areas and Regions to urgently submit applications to host BF Ambassadors in the 2026/27 Y’s Men’s year. Every Area is encouraged to host at least one BF Ambassador annually. We are pleased to announce offers from Korea, Latin America, and the United States. Asia Pacific and India have also expressed interest, with details of their offers expected shortly.

The IP’s BF contribution goal for this year is set at CHF 80,000. To encourage increased support, BFECC Venkatesh is introducing an incentive to recognise Regions whose 2025/26 contributions grow by 10% or more compared to the previous year.

All clubs are warmly invited to explore the available grants and other resources designed to help you make the most of the Building Fellowship programme. Read more about BF >>
