Club President Elect Institute – Session 3

Background

The CPE Institute’s primary goal is to inspire incoming club presidents, to enthuse and impassion them to go beyond the fundamental parameters of the job and to give them the tools to do so. Y’s Men International established the CPE Institute to develop leadership that is active, inspired, and ready to engage in service to the organisation, securing a bright future for the movement.

Through the CPE institute YMI is aiming to build leaders who:

• are better informed on the mission and objective of the organisation
• can empower others
• are inspired to make a difference in the organisation
• transfer knowledge into impact
• act as global citizens
• build fellowship
• follow good governance practices

Join us for our 3rd CPE Institute session where we will explore the topic of fundraising, looking at innovative ways to inspire donations and address challenges in developing appropriate and effective strategies for approaching potential donors.

We are excited to welcome Lions International Head of Development Function, Christopher Plunkett, who will provide an outside perspective and get us thinking.

We are also happy to announce the participation of several YMI club members who will be on hand to share unique ideas and approaches they have adopted for collecting funds.

The session will terminate with time for questions and idea sharing. We hope to see you on 8 April!
