  • Booster Club Awards given to clubs which have increased membership by six or more members in a year.

The Extension Beyond Borders Award (EBBA) is an international award that recognises and motivates clubs and individuals for their initiative and efforts to extend YMI beyond their borders, to other countries and territories.

Challenge 22 Awards

The Challenge 22 Awards recognise outstanding efforts to support the Challenge 22 operational plan to strengthen our movement, which includes strategic steps for expansion to 50,000 club members in 3,000 clubs and 100 countries by 2022. The awards particularly recognise achievements in membership growth during the dedicated 100-day membership campaign from 1 September – 9 December each year.

Community Service Awards

There are two categories of this annual award for outstanding achievements in community service.

  • Independent award
    • for community service coordinated and executed by a single club
  • Collective award
    • for community service involving multiple clubs at the District, Region or Area level.

 Independent Community Service Award

Y Service Club of Mandeville for its Wellness on the Go project, providing regular access to self-care and stress-relief products to more than 300 frontline workers at hospitals and health centres and in active collaboration with numerous local businesses and associations.

Collective Community Service Award

Hong Kong District for its Resurrection of Love project, a collaborative effort of 13 clubs, with the support of the Chinese YMCA and the Under Secretary of Commerce & Economic Development Bureau. This project involved the distribution of food and hygiene staples, as well as COVID-19 testing kits, to 150 homeless, low income and elderly persons in Hong Kong’s poorest district, Shum Shui Po.
