2022/23 International Elections

Terms & Conditions

  1. The 2022/23 International Elections of Y’s Men International will be conducted online using technology called Invote, a solution developed and fully managed by Scytl (https://www.scytl.com/online-voting/invote/).
  2. Voting is open to clubs with voting privileges and those granted exemption from the minimum requirement in Guideline 409.
  3. Voting will open at 17:00 CET on Friday, 16 December, 2022 and closes at 17:00 CET on Monday, 30 January, 2023.
  4. Clubs can view instructions on completing the online vote, lists of candidates, candidate bio-data and election notes by accessing https://www.ysmen.org/elections/2022-23.
  5. Eligible clubs can take part in the 2022/23 International Election by accessing https://www.civiciti.com/ww/scytl-ysmen. The email address of the Club President or authorised representative recorded at IHQ is used to obtain the voting code.
  6. The final result will be announced when voting is closed and the actual result is known and verified by the International Executive Officers.
  7. It is the right and responsibility of all clubs to vote freely for their chosen candidate(s).
  8. Voting ballots should be completed by the club president or authorised representative, as per the decision of the club, and submitted before the deadline.
  9. Any complaints or concerns regarding the voting process must be sent to the Regional Director Troika (Regional Director, Regional Director Elect and Past Regional Director). If necessary, the complaint or concern will be sent to the Area President Troika (AP Troika) for consideration. Only the AP Troika may approach the Nominating Committee for further possible action on complaints or concerns. Clubs and/or individuals must not directly contact the Nominating Committee, International Headquarters or International Secretary General with complaints or concerns about the voting process.
  10. Individual canvassing, canvassing on behalf of any individual candidate or any other activity that may enhance any candidate’s chances of election including but not limited to letters, emails, flyers, phone calls, faxes, face-to-face visits, meetings or other interactions intended to influence, directly or indirectly, any club’s choice of candidate(s) is not permitted
  11. Group canvassing, canvassing on behalf of any group or panel of candidates or any other activity that may enhance a particular group or panel of candidates’ chances of election including but not limited to letters, emails, flyers, phone calls, faxes, face-to-face visits, meetings or other interactions intended to influence, directly or indirectly, any club’s choice of candidate(s) is not permitted.
